AV/Security Systems Technician

About the Role We are looking for a motivated AV and Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be pivotal in deploying and maintaining cutting-edge audio-visual and security systems for commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive exceptional service and support, enhancing their operational capabilities and security. Responsibilities Deploy and configure a variety of AV systems, including projectors, sound reinforcement, and video conferencing solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Install and maintain security infrastructure, such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control mechanisms, to safeguard client assets and personnel. Perform detailed site assessments to determine installation requirements, offering tailored recommendations to meet client needs and project specifications. Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges related to AV and security systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation. Work closely with team members and clients to guarantee projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Educate clients on the effective use of installed systems, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to maximize their investment. Document all installations, repairs, and service activities accurately, maintaining a comprehensive record of system configurations and maintenance history. Qualifications Required Skills Demonstrated experience in the installation and upkeep of AV and security systems. Solid technical foundation in AV equipment and security technologies. Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, including blueprints and schematics. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. Preferred Skills Industry certifications such as CTS or NICET. Proven ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
