Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Lead AV Technician to spearhead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced audiovisual systems across diverse environments. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader who can oversee technical operations, mentor junior technicians, and ensure seamless AV experiences for clients. Duties Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of complex AV systems, including audio, video, control systems, and associated hardware. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues efficiently using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to minimize downtime. Manage cabling, wiring, and mechanical setup with precision using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure safety and system integrity. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on AV equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and telecommunication layouts for accurate system deployment. Supervise field service activities, providing guidance to team members during installations or repairs in diverse environments. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, maintenance logs, schematics updates, and troubleshooting procedures. Skills Extensive electrical experience with a focus on E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems. Proficiency in low voltage wiring techniques essential for AV installations. Strong field service background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex AV setups. Skilled in using hand tools for cabling, mechanical adjustments, and equipment assembly. Expertise in software troubleshooting related to AV control systems and digital interfaces. Solid understanding of computer hardware components relevant to AV technology integration. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Mechanical knowledge for equipment mounting, rigging, and structural support tasks. Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure relevant to AV system connectivity. Demonstrated electrical experience with a focus on maintaining safety standards during installations.
Pay:
$70,000.00 per year
