Audio Visual Technician (FT)

JOB SUMMARY

Provide audio/visual assistance and facilitate all entertainment, conventions and activities requiring a technician and production services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be professionally trained in sound Engineering or comparable field experience in PA operations, including but not limited to all powered and passive systems. Analog and digital consol experience is required. Soldering and light duty electrical knowledge is required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift heavy equipment. Must be able to manage stress orientated situations. Must be able to work flexible hours, days, nights and weekends. Must have excellent communication skills, to artists and management. Must have excellent guest service skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist entertainment from Load-In to Load-Out and operate the house PA system at all house events. Inventory and maintain house equipment, set up and break down PA systems on and off-site. Responsible for all audio/visual and will maintain a sign-out system for department use. Will repair and maintain equipment assigned to the Audio/Visual Tech Department. Will enforce policies of volume control and have knowledge of proper decibel levels for various type of shows. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings.
