Title:
Autonomous Technology Support Technician II -
Copper MineLocation:
Bagdad, AZ 86321 (2 Hours Northwest of Phoenix)
Hourly Pay:
$35 - $42/Hour + OvertimeFounded in 1912, this organization is one of the worlds largest copper producers, operating advanced open-pit mines and processing facilities across Arizona. The Bagdad site is a 24/7 operation using autonomous haulage systems, fleet management platforms, and mission-critical wireless networks. The Autonomous Technology Support Technician II supports Mine Operations by maintaining and troubleshooting onboard technology, wireless clients, and low-voltage systems that keep autonomous equipment running safely and efficiently.

What You Will Be DoingInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot onboard IT hardware, wireless clients, safety devices, and 2-way radios across autonomous and mobile mining equipment.

Perform advanced diagnostics on computer and electronic systems to reduce downtime and support continuous mine operations.

Configure, monitor, and maintain wireless infrastructure including Rajant, Cisco, and other mobile networking systems.

Support Mine Technology projects involving onboard hardware, low-voltage devices, and mobile communications systems.

Document all work performed and follow strict safety, SOP, and hazard-recognition procedures in a high-risk environment.

What You Need for This PositionFour (4) years of computer or electronic systems troubleshooting plus one technical certification OR six (6) years of relevant troubleshooting and repair experience.

Experience supporting onboard or industrial technology systems in rugged, high-activity environments.

Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and scheduled or unscheduled overtime.

Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with low-voltage systems, hardware configuration, or wireless and mobile infrastructure.
