Job Description

Looking for an AC/Media Manager position for a travel reality/doc series that will film around the US in the summer and fall. Likely 4-6 weeks of shooting total. Our typical schedule averages 5-6 nights on the road per shoot. Ideally would like to find someone for all of the shoot weeks. I need someone based in Los Angeles (preferably on the west side for LAX convenience and our offices in Santa Monica).
Job duties include:
traveling with equipment, helping build gear / setting up tech room at hotel, charging batteries, labeling media, loading minivans in the morning before shoot, running batteries/lenses/gear during shoot, building dana dolly/ronin/lights during shoot, managing media, helping pack gear. I need someone who can pay attention during the shoot and anticipate the needs of the 3 camera operators - running batteries/media, guiding when backtracking, having gear on standby, etc. We use Sony Cameras - FX6, FX3, a7siii, and occasionally FX9. This is not a pulling focus / teradek / cinematic lighting type job. I'm looking for someone with experience but work ethic is the main requirement. Camera operators own the equipment and are heavily involved. We want a team player with a great attitude. If we find a good fit there is continued work. This is a non-union project.
