Matchpoint is an award-winning, AI-powered, automated media supply chain that transforms how media and entertainment companies manage and deliver streaming video assets. It was developed to address the challenges facing studios and content owners due to rising costs, complexity, and scale, by replacing manual, labor-intensive workflows with an intelligent, end-to-end system that works across hundreds of global FAST, AVOD, SVOD and CTV platforms via the product suite - Dispatch (content onboarding and delivery), Blueprint (app building), and Insights (analytics) - which provides real-time control, transparency, scalability, and operational efficiency. With the recent additions of Giant Worldwide and IndiCue, Matchpoint uniquely combines automation, enterprise-level execution, and advertising technology - going beyond traditional infrastructure to provide enhanced monetization, real-time content optimization, and high-volume distribution. Conformance Technician manipulate and edit audio, video and subtitle files to match client and vendor specifications for streaming platforms. Great opportunity for someone who is a team-oriented, technically skilled, systems-oriented, and has an overall "Roll Up Your Sleeves" approach to troubleshooting. Day and swing shifts are available; please indicate if you have a preference. The ideal Conformance Technician will possess at least 2 years of experience working with various formats of digital video sources and encoding, including expertise in Digital Portal specs. Key Responsibilities Quickly comprehend technical specifications and apply that understanding. Monitor and prioritize a high volume and time sensitive order queue. Ensure source assets are restored and conformed as required. Validate video, audio and timed text media assets against a variety of client and internal specifications. Communicate and document internal rejections to the appropriate teams. Verify integrity of deliverables and delivery package prior to servicing. Maintain servicing action logs as needed Succinctly and efficiently handoff projects with next-up shifts Operate with a high sense of urgency and discretion Other tasks as needed to meet project deadlines Essential Qualifications / Competencies Conforming audio, video, and subtitle/caption content to platform specifications (iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.). High level understanding of subtitling specification and formats, audio sample rates, video frame rates, SMPTE timecode and traditional multichannel audio configurations (2.0, 5.1, 7.1, ATMOS). Understanding of industry format standards such as PAL, NTSC, timecode, framerate, codec, audio settings/configurations, Frame Rate Conversions, captions, subtitles, forced Narrative, SDH Knowledge of post-production guidelines and workflows using tools such as Adobe Premiere Suite, Clipster, Transkoder, Cortex, Resolve, and various transcoding utilities such as Compressor, AME, Episode Pro. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with other groups. Strong data entry and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently. Proficient with both Mac and PC operating systems. Comfortable with change and able to adapt as needed to meet the needs of our clients. Desired Skills and Experience Experience in a post-production or media creation environment. Understanding of video compression and various codecs used by VOD platforms and broadcasters. Ability to work independently while managing a heavy workload. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines. Enjoy work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail. A positive, can-do attitude and team player. Ability to work flexible shifts (AM, PM, Weekends).
