Senior Hardware Technician-Operations Manager shivnet inc Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $32 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Windows Computer hardware Packaging Quality inspection Cleaning Full Job Description Senior Hardware Technician / Refurbishment Operations Lead Job Summary An Ontario based business is seeking a hands-on Senior Hardware Technician / Operations Lead to support our refurbished computer operations. This role is ideal for someone who can repair, upgrade, test, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and related hardware while also helping manage daily workflow, technicians, quality control, and production targets. You will play a key role in keeping our refurbishing process efficient, accurate, and consistent from audit to repair, upgrade, imaging, cleaning, and final shipment. Duties Manage and support technicians involved in computer repair, upgrades, testing, imaging, cleaning, and packaging. Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, tablets, and components including RAM, SSDs, batteries, screens, keyboards, cameras, ports, hinges, and motherboards. Perform hardware upgrades including RAM, SSD, battery, charger matching, and part replacement. Inspect units for cosmetic and functional issues and ensure proper grading and quality control. Help organize repair queues, production flow, parts usage, and technician assignments. Troubleshoot Windows, BIOS, driver, hardware, and basic networking issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, failed units, and completed production. Train and guide junior technicians to follow company SOPs and quality standards. Work with warehouse, e-commerce, and inventory teams to keep units moving efficiently through the refurbishing process. Ensure tools, workstations, parts, and production areas are organized and safe. Qualifications Strong hands-on experience repairing laptops, desktops, and computer hardware. Experience with business-class systems such as Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad, HP EliteBook/ProBook, and Chromebooks preferred. Ability to diagnose hardware issues quickly and accurately. Comfortable replacing screens, keyboards, batteries, RAM, SSDs, hinges, covers, and internal components. Basic knowledge of Windows installation, BIOS settings, drivers, and device testing. Ability to lead, train, and support a small technician team in a fast-paced refurbishing environment. Strong attention to detail, quality control, and production accuracy. Ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment. Reliable, organized, and able to meet daily production goals. Pay $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits Paid time off Work Location In person
