Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Start time between 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM) Overview Client is seeking an Intermediate Engineering Technician to provide technical support for Internal Test Equipment Systems (ITES). This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in Linux, RF fundamentals, computer hardware, and troubleshooting who are looking to develop their technical skills in a hands-on engineering support environment. Must-Have Skills Basic Linux command-line usage Basic RF fundamentals knowledge Fundamental computer hardware knowledge Strong attention to detail Team-oriented mindset Required Technical Knowledge Linux RF (Radio Frequency) fundamentals Computer hardware IT support concepts Basic networking/TCP-IP understanding Key Responsibilities Assist with setup and configuration of Internal Test Equipment Systems (ITES) Perform routine maintenance on Linux-based systems following established procedures Support troubleshooting efforts and document findings Escalate technical issues to senior support engineers when needed Assist with RF cable management and hardware verification Maintain support records, logs, and ticket documentation Identify common system errors and basic equipment issues Follow all safety and operational procedures Participate in training and continuously develop technical skills Physical Requirements Must be able to: Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 lbs Frequently bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods Work with hands and fingers for equipment handling and cable management Education & Experience Bachelor's degree, OR Associate's degree + 1 year of related Engineering Technician experience, OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of related Engineering Technician experience Preferred Technical vocational training Military technical training Trade school certification IT certifications such as: CompTIA A+ Linux+ Fundamentals
