Audio Technician - Musical Arts Dean Bowling Green State University, United States about 21 hours ago
Location:
Campus, ILLINOIS Summary The Audio Technician is responsible for recording student recitals, guest artists, audition recordings, archival work and assisting the Recording Manager and Director of Recording.
Career Readiness Competencies:
Career & Self-Development Communication Critical Thinking Essential Functions Record, edit, mix, and live-stream audio and video for BGSU concerts and events Record audio and video for student recording sessions Provide front-of-house sound reinforcement for live CMA events Complete and deliver assigned post-production within a maximum 2-week timeframe Adhere to detailed media production specifications Run tech rehearsals for student degree and non-degree recitals on campus Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of one of the following courses:
MUCT 4360, MUCT 5360, MUCT 4440, MDIA 1992, MDIA 2620, MDIA
4890, or successful completion of equivalent audio production coursework at another college or university Ability to follow an agreed-upon work schedule that includes evenings and weekends as necessitated by the CMA event calendar Prompt and professional communication skills Bowling Green State University is an equal opportunity employer.
