Job Description

Tech IR/Special Procedures Job TitleInterventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)LocationRockville, MDSchedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) | OnsiteKey Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology and special procedures within an acute care, Level II Trauma facility
  • Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8-12 cases
  • Participate in on-call rotation, currently averaging approximately 7-10 days per month
  • Respond to STEMI Call team activations within 30 minutes of activation
  • Fulfill weekend call requirement of one full weekend per month
  • Document and chart using Cerner and McKesson systems Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of IR/Special Procedures experience required
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • Valid Maryland state license required at time of submission
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Must be able to respond to on-call activations within required timeframes
  • Must pass nicotine/cotinine drug screen — this is a strict no-tobacco facility; use of any nicotine products in any form will result in disqualification Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume acute care or trauma environment
  • Familiarity with Cerner and/or McKesson charting platforms
  • Comfort with floating to affiliate facilities as needed Why Join Us
