Job Description
Looking for an experienced Technical Director (TD) for a live multi-camera production taking place this Sunday at our Brooklyn Navy Yard studio. This is a fast-paced livestream with multiple cameras, graphics, and simultaneous streaming across multiple platforms. Responsibilities
Technical direct a live multi-camera broadcast
Switch cameras using Blackmagic ATEM
Roll lower thirds and light graphics during the show
Monitor audio and video quality throughout the broadcast
Stream simultaneously to multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, etc.)
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during the live production
Requirements
Strong experience with Blackmagic ATEM switchers
Comfortable cutting between multiple cameras live
Experience with livestreaming workflows
Familiar with basic graphics playback and overlays
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
Must be available this Sunday
Preferred
Experience with podcast or talk-show productions
Knowledge of Blackmagic HyperDecks, streaming encoders, and production audio
Experience with Restream, OBS, vMix, or similar streaming platforms
