Job Description
We're seeking authentic, engaging talent to appear in paid digital advertisements for Perplexity. Talent will portray everyday people using AI to simplify their lives, whether it's researching a purchase, planning a trip, learning a new skill, solving a problem, or getting quick answers on the go. We're looking for individuals with strong on-camera presence who can deliver natural, conversational performances. Prior acting or content creation experience is a plus but not required. Background in tech a major plus!! Usage Content will be used across digital and social media advertising platforms. Content will not be posted on your personal social media accounts. Ideal Talent Authentic tech-professional appearance and communication style Comfortable discussing technology, AI, and innovation Strong conversational delivery with a confident yet approachable personality Able to portray curiosity, expertise, and problem-solving ability Prior acting experience is a plus but not required Real tech-industry experience strongly preferred Performance Style Natural and understated—not commercial or overly polished. We're looking for someone who feels like a real engineer, founder, product manager, or knowledge worker who genuinely relies on technology to work smarter and stay informed. Sample Scenario A software engineer uses Perplexity to compare technical frameworks, research best practices, troubleshoot a coding issue, or quickly understand a new industry trend before a meeting.
