Oversee quality control of recordings and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established procedures. Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to staff as needed Utilize Adobe Creative Suite applications to support production and post-production needs Provide technical leadership and mentorship to production staff Maintain extensive technical, theoretical and practical knowledge in their areas of specialization Conduct and oversee routine equipment inspections and configuration checks to ensure production quality and uniformity Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify the needs of production, provide recommendations and develop executable plans Coordinate resource allocation and equipment repairs with the Engineering and Resource Management Departments Troubleshoot and implement solutions to address challenges presented by complex productions or equipment malfunctions Oversee, inventory and maintain all equipment, software and spaces associated with the lottery productions Establish and document processes and standards for their areas of specialization Maintain daily logs and address any discrepancies found in the logs. Understand tasks assigned to Multimedia Production Technicians and be able to perform those tasks as needed Instruct and mentor Multimedia Production Technicians on the proper use of equipment and software as well as basic and advanced production practices, skills and techniques Mentor staff on lottery operations and ensure that procedures are followed Ensure state and federal rules and regulations are followed during productions Continually assess the work of the production department to ensure consistent quality and identify areas of additional training or future improvements
Note:
A variable schedule, including standby and overtime, is required to support operations. Our team operates 365 days a year, holidays included.
Minimum Qualifications NOTE:
IN ORDER TO AWARD THE PROPER CREDIT FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, RESUMES MUST INCLUDE MONTH AND YEAR FOR START AND END DATES. IF ANY OF THIS EXPERIENCE IS LESS THAN FULL TIME YOU MUST INDICATE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK.
Six years of experience
  • in one or more of the following assignment areas with a national network, local network television affiliate, cable news, commercial media production facility, marketing communications agency or related operation.
College study in a related field may be substituted for up to four years of experience with 30 credit hours equaling one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Incumbents are responsible for a full range of production operations and creative service projects undertaken by DMSC and must specialize in at least two of the following areas: Asset management (physical or digital) Audio Cinematography Lighting Live event production Post-production editing Production planning Still photography Studio operations Unmanned aircraft systems Must also: Demonstrate an advanced level of skill and competence in their areas of specialization. Maintain knowledge of studio integration and how to troubleshoot problems.
