Responsibilities:
Film and provide live audio/visual and tech support for academic and special events on campus. Edit, format, transfer, and deliver audio and video recordings. Coordinate circulation, use, and checkout of multimedia equipment on campus. Provide technical assistance to instructors and students in the classroom. Oversee circulation of the university's media library. Assist with computer lab and MakerSpace operations. May be required to work some nights and select Saturdays. Minimum Qualifications Basic knowledge of video and audio editing software. Knowledge of audio/video production equipment, including AVCHD video cameras, live P.A. systems, projectors, and computers. Ability to help, work, and interact with students, instructors, and administration alike. Experience in media production, or a degree in a related field, is preferable. Knowledge of media production equipment, techniques, processes and applications. Ability to organize and plan to insure timely completion of work requested with minimal supervision. Ability to coordinate and oversee staff or student workers in performing assigned tasks; ability to learn new technologies and equipment. Some college training desirable. Instructional experience and proven experience in media production, especially multi-media presentation. Computer operation and editing skills required.
