Creative Director

At 1st Place Spiritwear, we outfit thousands of schools, athletes, and communities with designs they are proud to wear. We are growing fast and we are ready to take our creative operation to the next level. We are looking for a Creative Director — but let us be specific about what that means here. At 1st Place leaders do and delegate. This is not a job where you sit back and watch others work. You are getting your hands dirty and helping us build a team. If you are a talented designer or art director who is ready to make a big jump into a true leadership role — this was written for you.

What makes this role unique:

• You will own graphic design from concept to production
• You will work with cutting edge AI tools to generate and refine designs
• You will navigate and manipulate images within our proprietary image rendering system
• You will create ads and campaigns that introduce new designs every month
• You will build and lead a network of designers to grow our creative capacity
• You will work directly with school names, mascots, and spirit wear constraints that make this work genuinely creative and challenging
• Your designs will be featured on our site and seen by schools across the country What we are looking for:

• Ready to make a big leap into a Creative Director role and own it completely
• Real experience with AI image generation tools — show us what you have made
• Strong visual taste — you know what looks great on a t-shirt and what a student actually wants to wear
