Creative Director PMC Media Group | East Greenwich, RI Full-Time | In-Person PMC Media Group is seeking a world-class Creative Director to lead, scale, and elevate our creative department while remaining deeply involved in the day-to-day execution that fuels client success. This is a very unique career opportunity. This is a full-throttle creative leadership position for a creative professional who thrives in the trenches, leads by example, and possesses an elite understanding of branding, design systems, creative strategy, and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for shaping the growth of the creative department while simultaneously executing high-quality creative work that directly impacts our clients' growth. This professional must also have brand marketing experience, understanding the relationship graphic design has with impactful marketing. Additionally, you have the ability to adapt, overcome, and achieve creative challenges from day 1. Day 1 in this role You will collaborate across every area of the agency including brand strategy, web development, social media, performance marketing, cinematic production, agency branding, and more. You will serve as a critical creative voice within the organization, helping ensure every touchpoint meets the elevated standard our clients have come to expect. What You'll Do Creative Department Leadership Lead and continue building PMC's creative department into a world-class creative operation. Establish standards, processes, workflows, and systems that improve efficiency while elevating the quality of creative output agency-wide. Hands-On Creative Execution Remain actively involved in daily graphic design work across a diverse range of client projects. From complete brand identity systems and website creative to advertising campaigns, sales support materials, social media assets, packaging, presentations, environmental graphics, print collateral, and various assigned creative projects. Brand Strategy & Creative Direction Lead the development of sophisticated brand systems that create differentiation, authority, and market impact. Guide clients through visual positioning and ensure every creative decision aligns with business objectives. Cross-Agency Collaboration Work closely with every department throughout the agency. Partner with strategists, account managers, developers, media buyers, producers, content creators, and leadership to create integrated campaigns that captivate, convince, and convert. Supplier & Production Management Manage relationships with PMC's creative production partners, printers, promotional suppliers, fabricators, signage vendors, and specialty manufacturers. Prepare files, coordinate production, review proofs, manage approvals, and ensure final deliverables meet PMC quality standards. Creative Quality Control Serve as the final checkpoint for creative excellence. Review work across the department and ensure all deliverables reflect the strategic thinking, craftsmanship, and attention to detail expected from a premier agency partner. Client Leadership Confidently present creative concepts, articulate strategy, defend design decisions, and build trusted relationships with clients. Represent PMC with professionalism, confidence, and executive-level presence. What You Bring 5-7 years of professional creative, brand design, or creative leadership experience, preferably within an agency or marketing environment Proven experience leading creative teams while remaining actively involved in daily creative production Deep expertise in branding, identity systems, typography, layout, visual communication, and design strategy Advanced mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Exceptional understanding of both print and digital production requirements Strong knowledge of website design, user experience, and digital creative best practices Experience managing creative vendors, print production, proofing, and supplier relationships Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards Outstanding communication, presentation, and client-facing skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail A positive, professional attitude with the ability to thrive in a very fast-moving, collaborative, accountable, fun is good environment What You'll Get Competitive salary based on experience Uncapped Commission Opportunities Health Insurance Stipend Paid Time Off 11 Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company Match Friday Early Close at 2:00 PM Summer Hours Program Company Events, Team Celebrations, and Professional Development Opportunities The opportunity to help shape the future of one of New England's fastest-growing full-stack marketing agencies
