CREATIVE DESIGN OPPORTUNITIES
Positions available in our home office in Old Town Bluffton, SC- NOT REMOTE Named one of South Carolina's fastest-growing companies, Spartina 449 is a dynamic women's apparel and accessories brand carried in over 2,000 specialty boutiques nationwide. We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative, entrepreneurial team where your ideas and artistic vision can make a direct impact on a growing lifestyle brand. Spartina 449 is growing and looking for multiple creative design professionals to join our team. We are currently seeking talented individuals for a variety of design-focused roles, including: Art Directors Print Designers Technical Production Artists Our creative team develops women's apparel, handbags, accessories, and beach collections with a strong emphasis on original prints, pattern development, color storytelling, and elevated lifestyle design. These positions are ideal for highly creative, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and have a passion for fashion, color, and print design. Key Responsibilities Create original prints, patterns, and graphic artwork for seasonal collections Develop color palettes and colorways across apparel and accessory categories Collaborate with apparel and product development teams to bring concepts to life Contribute to the creative direction of handbags, beach collections, and accessories Prepare production-ready artwork and technical files Ensure brand consistency across all product categories Research market, fashion, print, and color trends Support seasonal design presentations and creative development Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industry experience preferred Degree in Fashion Design, Visual Communications or similar preferred Strong portfolio showcasing print, pattern, color, and/or technical production work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop Strong understanding of color theory and design execution Fashion, accessories, textile, or lifestyle brand experience preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K w/company match, Paid Time Off, Excellent employee discount program
