This role is crucial in directing innovative communications and creative strategies aligned with Southcrest's core values: Faithfulness, Authenticity, Equipping, and Generosity. Reporting to the Executive Pastor of Operations and Ministry Services, the Creative Director will create and implement vision, storytelling content, and communications for community and ministry engagement. Key Responsibilities Vision and Strategy Develop and articulate creative vision for ministry projects and churchwide initiatives. Align all projects with the church's mission and brand. Team Leadership Mentor and develop the Communications Team, including roles like graphic designer and videographer. Work alongside the Communications Manager Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement. Quality and Brand Control Ensure all visual content is high-quality and consistent across all media. Maintain the church's visual brand identity consistently across projects. Cross-Ministry Support Provide creative resources to support the visual communication needs of all ministries. Collaboration and Budget Management Collaborate with ministry teams and the Communications Manager. Track costs and manage the budget for ministry projects. Expectations and Goals Streamline communication processes across ministries. Empower the Communications Team through vision-casting and feedback. Enhance the church experience through collaborative initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong portfolio of design and creative projects. Excellent verbal communication and client relations skills. Experience in social media strategies, print production, and digital media design. Personal Attributes Alignment with Southcrest's mission and values. Creative, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate the team. Secure, humble, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
