Trading Card Breaker - Sports

Job Overview GameTime Hobby Shop is launching a brand-new live breaking division and is seeking energetic, on-camera Breakers to lead the operation. This role involves hosting live streams, engaging with viewers, and breaking open both sports cards (football, basketball, baseball etc.) and TCG products like Pokémon, One Piece, and more. You'll be the face of the stream , driving hype, building community, and ensuring smooth break operations from start to finish. This is an on-site role in Fremont, CA , offering base hourly pay plus up to 3% commission on total sales volume (product dependent). The position comes with major upside as our operation grows. Duties & Responsibilities Host high-energy, engaging live breaks on platforms like Fanatics Live, Whatnot, Drip Shop and TikTok. Build hype around big hits and interact with viewers in real time Sort, sleeve, and ship cards accurately and efficiently Maintain a professional and organized break station Collaborate with the team on break formats, stream strategy, and promotions Ensure a consistent, upbeat, and entertaining stream environment throughout your shift Track product inventory and assist with organizing upcoming break schedules Help build the brand! Take part in building an exciting brand that has a hand in a wide variety of different collectibles. Qualifications Prior breaking experience strongly preferred (minimum 1 year ideal), but not required Deep knowledge of sports cards and/or TCGs (Pokémon, One Piece, etc.) Comfortable on camera with strong verbal communication skills Energetic, reliable, and able to maintain enthusiasm during long break sessions Detail-oriented when it comes to sorting and packaging cards Familiarity with platforms like Whatnot, Fanatics Live or TikTok is a plus Must be 18+ and able to work on-site at our Fremont, CA location
