Elevate the guest experience at Palm Springs' premier drag venue Downtown Palm Springs, CA Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible Scheduling) We invite applications for the position of Sound Engineer / DJ / A.V. Coordinator at the leading drag venue in Downtown Palm Springs. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to contribute to a dynamic entertainment environment, supporting live performances and nightlife events with professionalism and skill. If you possess a passion for music, entertainment, and live production, we welcome you to join our team. Responsibilities Operate and manage sound, lighting, and A/V systems for live drag performances and scheduled events Perform DJ sets during shows, themed evenings, and special occasions Coordinate audio, video, and lighting cues to ensure seamless production and high-quality experiences Set up, test, and maintain equipment before, during, and after events Collaborate with performers, hosts, and management to enhance the guest experience Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and efficiently Qualifications Experience as a DJ, sound engineer, or A.V. technician (experience in nightlife or live performance is preferred) Comprehensive knowledge of soundboards, mixers, lighting systems, and video playback technology Ability to remain organized and multitask in a live-performance setting Demonstrates reliability, a positive attitude, and a collaborative approach Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Preferred Skills Experience with drag shows, theater, or live entertainment venues Creativity in music selection and audience engagement Familiarity with lighting programming or show control software Compensation & Benefits $22-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience Flexible scheduling options for part-time and full-time hours Opportunity to work in a vibrant, inclusive, and creative environment Become part of an iconic entertainment venue in Palm Springs Application Process To apply, please submit your resume and/or a brief summary of your experience.
