We help students of all ages build confidence, creativity, and technical DJ skills. Position Overview We're looking for a fun, energetic, and dependable DJ Instructor to teach beginner and intermediate DJ students. This is a great opportunity for an experienced DJ who enjoys mentoring others and sharing a passion for music. Retired professionals, seasoned DJs, former radio personalities, musicians, and educators are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Teach DJ fundamentals including:

Beatmatching Mixing Scratching Song selection Equipment setup Lead engaging one-on-one and small group lessons Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Help students build confidence and performance skills Maintain studio equipment and classroom organization Represent the academy professionally

Qualifications Required:

DJ experience (club, mobile, radio, events, weddings, or performance) Strong communication and people skills Reliable transportation Ability to work with students of different ages

Preferred:

Teaching, coaching, mentoring, or training experience Experience with Serato, Pioneer DJ equipment, or Rekordbox Outgoing and energetic personality Experience working with youth and adults Ideal Candidate 35+ preferred (not required) Friendly, patient, and personable Loves music and helping others learn Comfortable speaking in front of groups Professional appearance and attitude Schedule Part-time Weekday afternoons/evenings Weekend opportunities available Compensation $25-$40 per hour (depending on experience) Performance bonuses available Opportunity for additional private lessons and events Indeed Screening Questions How many years of DJ experience do you have?
