Tampa Convention Center Position Overview We are seeking a highlyanized and detail-oriented Chief Assistant to support event leadership and ensure smooth daily operations during a large-scale scoring event. This role works closely with the Chief Reader, Assessment Development, and Scoring Coordinators to provide administrative leadership and operational support in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Reader and scoring leadership team Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to respond to participant inquiries regarding schedules, logistics, and event procedures Strong leadership capability with the ability to work independently and manage processes and personnel Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel Key Responsibilities Support the Chief Reader and College Board Assessment staff with materials preparation and coordination Communicate updates, changes, and instructions to assigned groups in a timely and professional manner Relay messages and research requests in collaboration with client staff Identify and escalate policy issues or operational concerns, providing rmended solutions Perform clerical duties as needed, including photocopying, equipment testing, and document preparation Ensure allputers and systems are operational at the start of each scoring day Review and be fully familiar with Chief Assistant materials and required forms Coordinate supply distribution, workstation setup, and materialanization for leaders and readers Liaise with support teams for additional operational or audiovisual needs Assist the Chief Reader with additional duties as required Ensurepletion and collection of all required documentation and forms Supervisory Responsibilities (If Applicable) Supervise assigned assistants and adjust responsibilities as needed Communicate policies related to breaks, scheduling, and cell phone usage Monitor and verify daily timekeeping for assigned staff attendance issues (late or absent staff) to site leadership and staffing partners Distribute and collect performance evaluation forms and return to site leadership Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time May require frequent movement throughout the event site Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership,anizational, and administrative experience who enjoy working in a dynamic, event-driven environment.Pay Details:
