Before You Apply, This Is Important:

This is not a club DJ position.

This role is about:

Professional public speaking Leading events with confidence Creating a polished, organized experience for clients If you're primarily interested in club-style DJing or just playing music, this may not be the right fit.

What You'll Do:

Speak on a microphone and lead wedding receptions (and occasional non-wedding events) Engage guests and create a fun, organized atmosphere based on each client's planning preferences Manage event timelines and coordinate with venue staff and vendors Set up and operate professional sound and lighting equipment Deliver a high-end, consistent experience every time

Training & Opportunity:

Comprehensive, hands-on training program — no DJ experience necessary (we prefer it that way) Training bonus awarded upon successful completion of all training requirements Part-time weekend opportunities (primarily Fridays & Saturdays) A structured system that sets you up for success

Compensation:

Event-based pay, typically ranging from $275-$450+ per event , depending on event length, services selected, and travel distance Gratuities, when provided, are separate from this range Compensation details are reviewed during the interview process.

What We're Looking For:

Strong communication skills — you must be clear, confident, and easy to understand on a microphone Professionalism and attention to detail Reliability — weddings cannot be rescheduled Ability to work independently and manage live events without direct supervision Ability to perform the core responsibilities of the role, including speaking on a microphone, managing event flow, and handling event equipment independently in a live event setting A positive, team-first attitude Availability for at least two Saturdays per month (especially June-October) Location Requirement (Read Carefully): You must live within 50 miles of Roseville, MN, and be available locally through our peak season (June-October). Applicants outside this area will not be considered. Priority Consideration (Important) To be considered for priority interview scheduling , include a short (30-60 second) voice sample.
