Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic event production team as a DJ Roadie / Event Production Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive unforgettable experiences! In this role, you'll be instrumental in setting up, maintaining, and breaking down audio-visual equipment and staging for live events, concerts, festivals, and corporate functions. Your hands-on skills and proactive attitude will ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of high-energy events while developing valuable skills in event logistics and heavy equipment operation. Duties Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting audio-visual gear, staging materials, and event equipment using appropriate heavy machinery such as loaders, dozers, or dump trucks Set up sound systems, lighting rigs, stage platforms, and other technical equipment according to event specifications Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and front loader trucks safely and efficiently to prepare event sites Conduct utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or setup activities Support the installation of paving or ground stabilization measures as needed for outdoor events or construction-related setups Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment and work areas regularly during setup and breakdown phases Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all setup and teardown tasks while adhering to project timelines Qualifications Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or dump trucks is highly preferred Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and utility locating procedures Hands-on experience with paving, grading, or general construction site work is a plus Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment confidently and safely Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks in outdoor environments Construction or event production experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential Valid driver's license with clean driving record; commercial licenses are a plus Join us in creating seamless event experiences by combining your technical skills with your passion for hands-on work.
