Responsibilities Perform on stilts with confidence, demonstrating excellent balance and agility to entertain crowds safely. Bring characters to life through expressive movements, dance routines, and theatrical gestures that captivate spectators. Engage with audiences of all ages using lively public speaking skills, storytelling, and interactive antics. Collaborate with fellow performers and event staff to coordinate themed shows, parades, or walk-around entertainment. Adapt performances to suit different venues and audience reactions, maintaining high energy levels throughout each event. Work closely with children by providing friendly interactions, ensuring they feel included and entertained while maintaining safety protocols. Assist in setting up costumes, props, and stilts prior to performances and help with takedown afterward as needed. Qualifications Experience or training in dancing or theatrical performance is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for engaging audiences confidently and clearly. Ability to work on stilts safely for extended periods; prior stilt-walking experience is a plus. Passion for entertaining children and families through playful interactions and storytelling. Knowledge of public speaking techniques to connect effectively with diverse crowds. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in fast-paced event environments.
