Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic DJ for Events to bring vibrant entertainment and engaging experiences to various gatherings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your musical talents, interact with diverse audiences, and contribute to memorable events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for music, and the ability to energize crowds while managing event logistics seamlessly. Responsibilities Curate and mix playlists that suit the theme and atmosphere of each event, ensuring high energy and audience engagement Emcee announcements, introduce performers, and interact with guests to create a lively environment Provide your own sound system and operate sound equipment, microphones, lighting, and other audiovisual tools effectively during events Coordinate with event organizers to understand specific requirements and adapt performances accordingly Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor throughout all events Respond promptly to audience cues and technical issues to ensure smooth event flow Skills 2+ years of live event DJ experience Experienced in weddings, corporate events, and private parties Skilled in sound system setup, lighting control, and event coordination Strong MC and public-speaking abilities Customer service orientation to ensure guests have a memorable experience Ability to dance or move rhythmically to enhance entertainment value Experience in public speaking or hosting large groups confidently Physical stamina for heavy lifting of equipment and setup tasks Knowledge of music mixing software, sound systems, and audiovisual technology Location & Schedule 249 W. 65th St, New York, NY, 10023 Friday Oct 23 Nov 20 Dec 18 12:30 PM - 2:30
