Job Description
To Qualify:
To be eligible for the Metro Council, an applicant or candidate must be a qualified elector and shall have resided during the preceding 12 months within the boundaries of Metro as they exist when the term of office begins. Anyone seeking election to a Metro office must file their candidate forms with the Multnomah County Elections Division .The selection process:
The Metro Council will hold a public hearing, conduct candidate interviews and vote on candidates on June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be conducted on-site at the Metro Regional Center and will be available online via Zoom.
