Higher Ground Entertainment is a boutique, design-forward DJ and event production company specializing in elevated weddings and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations. We are expanding our event teams and are currently hiring across multiple roles. We build long-term teams and train people to perform at a high level within a polished, professional system. This is consistent event work within an established company — not one-off or casual staffing. 1) Wedding DJ / MC — Lead Role Primary DJ and on-mic host for weddings This is a leadership role responsible for guiding the flow, pacing, and energy of the event from start to finish. Ideal candidates are confident, charismatic DJs with strong microphone skills who are calm under pressure and comfortable leading an event while representing a premium brand. 2) Mitzvah DJ — Supporting Team Role Performance + technical role on mitzvah teams This role focuses on music, energy, and production flow. You will work alongside an experienced Event Host / MC and will not be responsible for leading on the microphone. Ideal for DJs who enjoy teamwork, high-energy events, and mastering execution within a repeatable system. 3) Mitzvah MC — Host / Personality Role On-mic, on-camera event host MCs lead games, moments, and crowd engagement, working closely with DJs and Party Motivators. This role is centered on personality, presence, and communication. Ideal candidates are outgoing, confident speakers who enjoy working with kids and teens. 4) Party Motivator — Dancer / Energy Role High-energy dance floor motivator Party Motivators drive energy through movement, interaction, and engagement. This role involves dancing, hyping guests, and motivating kids and teens throughout the event. Dance experience is a plus, but confidence, enthusiasm, and positivity matter most. 5) DJ Assistant / Event Support — Client-Facing Support Role Production and event support role DJ Assistants support DJ/MC teams by helping with setup, strike, transitions, and overall event execution. This is a front-of-house, client-facing support role , not a DJ or MC position. Ideal for detail-oriented, professional individuals who enjoy live events, hospitality, and being part of a high-performing team.
