- Botanical Design Operations Jennifer Rust Botanicals | Studio JRB Marietta, GA | Part-time, Contract About Us Jennifer Rust Botanicals and Studio JRB are two growing botanical design businesses operated out of our East Cobb studio.
Jennifer Rust Botanicals creates seasonal subscription live plant containers delivered to homes across Atlanta four times a year. Studio JRB specializes in live and faux plant designs for luxury hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial properties. We're passionate about bringing natural beauty to every space we touch. About This Role This is a flexible, as-needed contractor position — not a guaranteed-hours role. Our business is growing. Work for now is project-based and will vary week to week, averaging roughly one day per week over the next several months (approximately through the end of the year). Some weeks may have no work; others, particularly around install and delivery seasons in September and November, may be more active. There is the opportunity to add additional hours during the 2nd week of September and November when we will also need a delivery person to drive our commercial van and deliver our Seasonal Subscription planters in metro Atlanta. This is an ideal fit for someone who values flexibility, wants hands-on creative work, and is available on relatively short notice week-ahead scheduling. There is potential for this relationship to grow into more regular hours and employment over time for the right person and as our business continues to grow. We are really looking for someone who is interested in joining and growing with our JRB team. What You'll Work On Depending on the season and project schedule, work may include: Installation of live container gardens at residential and commercial properties with members of the team Creation and installation of faux botanical décor for commercial clients Commercial and residential plant maintenance visits Holiday décor installation Delivery driving using our commercial van (valid license and clean insurance driving record required) Studio tasks including loading, organizing materials, and prepping for installs Who We're Looking For Available for flexible, as-needed scheduling with reasonable advance notice Comfortable with physical work — lifting and moving containers and materials up to 40 lbs Valid driver's license, clean insurance driving record, and currently insured Professional, punctual, and reliable — our clients are high-end and our reputation matters Genuine interest in plants, design, and seasonal aesthetics Horticultural experience is a plus but not required; we'll teach the right person Work Environment Based out of our East Cobb studio, with on-site work throughout the Atlanta metro area. Work is a mix of indoor, outdoor, and physically active settings across all weather conditions. Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience, $18
