Wedding Planner

Lead Wedding Planners at Roots To Stems play an essential role not only in the overall planning experience working with our clients but also for the company at large. Lead Planners represent who we are, what we are capable of and are the smiling face of our company. Lead Wedding Planners are responsible for assisting clients in planning wedding activities, logistics, negotiating vendor contracts, ensuring that wedding-day activities run smoothly, and most importantly are responsible for bringing a positive, stress-free and a caring attitude to every couple and vendor conversation. Lead Planners are the catalyst for an exceptional event and planning experience, tasked with duties to further their development and career growth at Root To Stems and the wedding industry at large. Lead Planners are energetic, have a sense of urgency to go above and beyond for their clients, are detail-oriented, and assist with responsibilities that include: Obtaining quotes and proposals from vendors staying positive with a "can-do" attitude to build and maintain excellent rapport with our vendor community Creating timelines and floorplans using our in-house BEF (Bridal Event Form) process as well as the All Seated Technology Executing all pre-planning meetings per our package offerings including couples discovery calls, design planning sessions, logistical planning sessions, timeline meetings, and more. Executing wedding-day plans and activities for each client to ensure that their wedding day remains on schedule Methodically adapt to challenging and/or stressful situations Keep abreast of the latest wedding trends, new venues Demonstrate exceptional communication, organization, and customer service skills Conducting Planning Sessions, Couple Discovery Calls, Logistical Planning meetings with our clients via ZOOM, phone call and / or at times in person Helping clients pick the best vendors using our Preferred Vendor list to hit client expectations for flawless execution Sending reminders as well as scheduling meetings with clients for design sessions, client detail meetings, phone calls, and more Conducting final detail / venue walkthroughs with clients to ensure everything is set and prepped for day of (usually happens an hour prior to the wedding rehearsal onsite) Conducting wedding rehearsals with couples, officiants, family and bridal parties onsite at their venue Ensuring that clients' wedding gifts and personal property are packed away and secured in an assigned vehicle or storage room Obtaining wedding photos from photographers after the wedding (this isn't mandatory but it's great so that we can post beautiful photos from our weddings on social media!) A deep strategic business mind that understands who we are, what we offer, why Roots To Stems is unique and how we can help each client with our offerings Providing above and beyond exceptional service to our couples, clients and vendor friends Bringing a positive and uplifting attitude to all you work with and a willingness to pitch in as we grow and learn together! ​Leads 2-4 events per month or as needed Requirements +

Information:

Must have weekend availability for booked weddings Full Time HYBRID / Work From Home Paid Monthly / Part Time Extended Holiday Break when offices are closed (usually Christmas Eve-January 1st and For Thanksgiving usually day before TG - the weekend). Summer Hours and downtime (very limited events in the summer season) Flexible work schedule / ability to create your own schedule and work hours (example, if you have a wedding on Sunday take Monday off!)
