Organized Play Manager I Richardson, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Management Sales Writing skills Supervising experience Task prioritization Decision making Data entry Full Job Description Organized Play Manager I As an Organized Play leader, you will play a vital role in enhancing card game player satisfaction throughout North America, while striving to expand the player base and drive product sales. Your responsibilities include coordinating with tournament organizers to oversee tournament scheduling and operations across various regions. Your analysis of user data will help shape and enhance upcoming strategies for managing tournaments. Furthermore, you will manage convention-style events aimed at attracting new card game enthusiasts and fans of intellectual properties. Collaboration with the Dallas tournament organizer is required for booth layout and activity planning, ensuring alignment with annual budget constraints and developing outreach strategies to engage audiences beyond traditional card gaming.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare annual schedules for designated titles and conventions. Conduct research on competing company card game titles and events to propose and implement high-impact, user-centric events. Oversee tournament schedules and coordinate event execution through regular meetings with regional tournament organizers. Review the tournament operation manual periodically and distribute updated versions to each tournament organizer. Utilize post-event reports and user analysis to refine future event management strategies. Manage convention events across North, Central, and South America, including booth operations, planning, and negotiations with tournament organizers. Plan large tournaments and convention events in accordance with the annual budget. Manage social media accounts to effectively promote convention and large-scale events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE AND WORK REQUIREMENTS
Experience in marketing and sales, particularly in partner negotiations, advancing projects, and making informed decisions. Experience in launching projects or initiatives from concept to execution. Proficiency in Japanese reading and writing (preferred)
OTHER APPRECIATED SKILLS
Possesses experience within the card game industry or demonstrates proficiency in playing card games with a comprehensive understanding of their rules and associated events. Experience working with Japanese-based organizations or global teams.
