Organized Play Manager II Richardson, TX Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Management Writing skills Task prioritization Decision making Data entry Full Job Description Organized Play Manager II As an Organized Play leader, you will play an integral role in enhancing car game player satisfaction throughout North America, while striving to grow the player base and drive product sales. Your duties include negotiating with tournament organizers, overseeing tournament scheduling across various regions, and managing tournament operations. You will also analyze user data to inform and optimize future tournament strategies. Furthermore, you will supervise Store Account Managers at local gaming stores that support trading card games. This responsibility involves fostering strong relationships with these stores, collecting feedback to relay local perspectives to product development teams, and working to increase both trading card game sales and the number of active users.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Preparation of annual schedules of responsible titles. Conduct research on competing company card game titles and events to propose and implement high-impact, user-centric events. Oversee tournament schedules and coordinate event execution through regular meetings with regional tournament organizers. Review the tournament operation manual periodically and distribute updated versions to each tournament organizer. Utilize post-event reports and user analysis to refine future event management strategies. Establish a system for "Store Account Managers" to monitor North America stores to strengthen relationships with stores that handle Bandai Card Games. Review data from Store Account Managers to gain insights into each store's sales performance and pinpoint improvement opportunities, including optimizing Bandai Card Games operations. Manage convention events in North, Central, and South America, including booth operations, planning, and negotiations with tournament organizers. Plan large tournaments and convention events in accordance with the annual budget.

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE AND WORK REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in marketing or sales. Experience in marketing and sales, particularly in partner negotiations, advancing projects, and making informed decisions. Experience in launching projects or initiatives from concept to execution.
OTHER APPRECIATED SKILLS
Possesses experience within the card game industry or demonstrates proficiency in playing card games with a comprehensive understanding of their rules and associated events. Experience working with Japanese-based organizations or global teams. Proficiency in Japanese reading and writing. (preferred).
