Director of Photography Corporate Documentary | JBLM / Tacoma | 34 Days | July 710, 2026 Meld and Motion Production Tacoma, WA Job Details $750 - $900 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Photography lighting equipment Photography gear Lighting fixtures Lighting for video production Full Job Description Meld & Motion is a Texas-based production company currently producing a national corporate documentary campaign for a major military housing client. We're bringing production to Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) and the greater Tacoma area and need a skilled local DP to round out our two-person crew. The Work This is a sit-down interview and B-roll campaign think clean, polished, emotionally compelling storytelling. You'll be shooting resident and employee testimonial-style interviews across 34 shoot days alongside our EP/Director. Between setups you'll be capturing community life, amenities, and authentic moments on base and in the surrounding area. What We Need From You Full lighting kit we're shooting clean interview setups, so bring your A-game (LED panels, soft boxes, or equivalent). Diffusion is a must. Camera competency you'll operate camera and manage your own setups. We're lean and efficient. B-roll instincts when we're not rolling interviews, you're collecting. No hand-holding needed. Professionalism on a military installation we'll be working with real families and staff. Attitude matters. Requirements Based in or near Tacoma / Seattle / JBLM area Own lighting and diffusion package (required no exceptions) Comfortable operating as part of a two-man crew Able to obtain or already hold JBLM base access credentials (we will initiate paperwork your cooperation required) Portfolio or reel showing interview/documentary work preferred Reliable transport and punctual early call times
Rate:
$750$900/day depending on experience and gear package
