About us Events By Design is a Milwaukee based full-service production company focused on creative event design through audio, video, lighting, and custom fabrication. Our social wedding brand Sound By Design is growing and we want YOU to join our team! Your position as a DJ Assistant will focus on not only being the helping hand to the lead DJ at a wedding but an assist to Events By Design (Sound By Design) as a whole. This includes the preparation, set up and take down of an event that you are assigned to but can also include further help at other events as well. Sound By Design Assistant You will work under the direction of your assigned lead DJ and any scheduled wedding production. During this time your responsibilities will be, but not limited to: Assist the assigned lead DJ with execution of wedding Preparation and loading of transit DJ Show Uplights Photo Booth Extra Speakers Extra Equipment Set Up of wedding Any relocation of equipment throughout the night Adjusting music and mic volumes where needed Teardown Unloading of transit Organization of equipment Other tasks as directed by the lead DJ or scheduled wedding production Capture photos/videos throughout event Fri-Sun availability Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements Some college experience Energetic, outgoing, punctual, good with public speaking, good with communication Marketing/sales experience Sense of urgency Loyalty Well-groomed Ability to lift 50+ pounds Possess a current driver's license

Compensation Hourly Rate:

$20-$40 based on experience
