As a Lead DJ, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable moments for our clients and their guests on their special day. In addition to providing exceptional musical entertainment, you will receive comprehensive training to serve as a consultant, collaborator, and guide throughout the planning and execution of each event. If you have a passion for music and a willingness to learn, we will provide you with the skills and support needed to succeed in this exciting role.
Responsibilities:
Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their musical preferences, event vision, and any special requests. Receive training on how to offer expert advice and recommendations to help clients create the perfect soundtrack for their wedding day. Assist in various aspects of event planning, including audio setup, lighting, and venue logistics, with guidance provided by experienced team members.
Event Coordination:
Collaborate with wedding planners, venue staff, and other vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of each event. Learn to create and maintain detailed event timelines, incorporating key moments such as ceremony, reception entrance, and first dance, etc. Receive support from seasoned professionals to serve as a point of contact for the clients throughout their journey.
Collaboration:
Work alongside experienced Lead DJs to curate playlists that reflect the unique tastes and preferences of each couple. Learn to incorporate special requests and dedications into the musical lineup, fostering a personalized experience for the couple and their guests. Embrace a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging guests to participate in the celebration through music and dance.
Audio Equipment Management:
Receive training on how to safely carry, set up, and dismantle audio equipment, ensuring proper installation and operation. Learn to conduct sound checks and make adjustments as needed to achieve optimal audio quality throughout each event. Gain experience in monitoring equipment for any issues or malfunctions, with guidance provided by experienced mentors.
Performance:
Develop skills in creating engaging and energetic atmospheres through song selection, mixing, and basic MC duties. Learn to read the crowd and adjust the music accordingly to keep guests entertained and on the dance floor. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, representing our company with enthusiasm and dedication.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided. Passion for music and a desire to learn and grow in the field of event entertainment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Strong organizational abilities, with a willingness to take direction and learn from experienced team members. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and transport audio equipment in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, with availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
