Position Summary Loveli is seeking talented, reliable, and personable Wedding & Event DJs to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering an outstanding entertainment experience at weddings and events by managing music, announcements, event flow, and guest energy with professionalism and confidence. The ideal candidate is polished, organized, comfortable on a microphone, and able to read a room while keeping the event timeline on track. Our DJs serve as both entertainers and event hosts, helping create memorable experiences for couples, clients, and guests. Key Responsibilities Perform as the lead DJ and MC for weddings and events Facilitate key event moments including grand entrances, first dances, toasts, dinner transitions, open dancing, and formalities Communicate professionally with couples, planners, venue staff, photographers, videographers, and other vendors Review event details, music preferences, and timeline in advance of each event Arrive on time, dressed professionally, and fully prepared for each event Set up, operate, and tear down DJ equipment safely and efficiently Read the crowd and adjust music selections and pacing to maintain energy and engagement Make clear, confident, and polished announcements Represent Loveli's brand with professionalism, warmth, and excellent customer service Ensure equipment is handled responsibly and event spaces are respected Complete post-event follow-up or internal notes as required Qualifications Prior DJ, MC, live event, wedding, or entertainment experience preferred Strong public speaking and microphone presence Professional, outgoing, and client-friendly demeanor Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to stay calm and adaptable in fast-paced event environments Strong music knowledge across genres, eras, and event formats Reliable transportation required Weekend availability required, especially Fridays and Saturdays Ability to lift and transport DJ equipment Commitment to punctuality, preparation, and team communication Preferred Traits Experience with weddings and formal event structure Ability to balance professionalism with fun, high-energy performance Strong instincts for crowd reading and dance floor management Solution-oriented mindset and comfort handling live-event changes Team-first attitude and willingness to follow Loveli standards and processes Compensation $ 400-$600 per event day Pay is determined by experience, role expectations, event complexity, and performance Opportunities for additional event work may be available Schedule Primarily evenings and weekends Flexible based on event calendar Seasonal volume may vary, with peak demand during wedding season Why Join Loveli Competitive per-event pay Work with a professional, well-established event team Be part of meaningful celebrations and memorable experiences Clear standards, support, and training Opportunities to grow within a respected events brand
