The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. This individual will also conduct operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences. Day toDay:
Remote control drone piloting Data Collection Working a night shift•3 pm-11:30 pm Drive to offsite work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided). Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable. Schedule changes frequently depending on certain daylight conditions. Overtime may be required and approved based off of work assignment/deliverables. Mission planning, lightweight maintenance duties.Must Haves:
14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. 2+ years of commercial drone piloting experience (bigger commercial drones). Strong pre-flight planning process Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Experience with commercial UAS industry Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar Needs more than just DJI, remote control airplanes would work too Must be able to fly in manual mode•specifically no GPS Must have professional experience flying drones, no less than 50 hours logged flight timePlusses:
