AeroPrecision Drones provides experienced pilots and ground crew to several drone show operators. Role Overview As a Drone Show Pilot , you will be responsible for the safe operation of drone light shows in coordination with other pilots and crew. This is a casual, on-call contractor role , giving you the flexibility to accept shows that fit your schedule through our contractor scheduling system. Responsibilities Operate drone light show flights as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Second-in-Command (SIC) in accordance with company procedures and regulations. Conduct pre-flight planning, safety briefings, and risk assessments. Monitor drone fleet performance during shows and respond to contingencies. Supervise and coordinate with ground crew during set-up, launch, and recovery phases. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations. Requirements FAA Part 107 Pilot License. Strong understanding of aviation safety, airspace, and regulatory requirements. Previous drone show or multi-drone operations experience preferred. Experienced with Drone Show Software (DSS) preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and during irregular hours. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Compensation Independent contractor role. Paid per show , with rates depending on role (PIC vs. SIC). Travel, mileage, and per diem may be provided when applicable. Why Join Us?
