Job Description

Drone Pilot /
Survey Helper Location:
Central Florida Southern Development & Construction, Inc was established in 1994 and is a growing private contractor concentrating on complete site development services (underground utility, earthwork, and paving) in the Central Florida area for subdivisions, apartments, commercial and public projects. We are seeking a drone pilot with an FAA part 107 remote pilot license for construction site monitoring. This involves safely operating our drone in accordance with all applicable Rules and Regulations. Training will be provided in survey grade photography and location. This role requires the ability to work independently and ensure the safe operation of drones and accurate data collection.
Responsibility:
The pilot will visit construction sites to collect aerial photography for site progress records. Communication with company drone scheduling and survey department for data receipt and accuracy will be required.
Qualifications:
Valid Florida Driver License Clean Driving History Certification to operate drones commercially in the United States Proficiency in flying drones in various environments, including complex construction sites. Ability to process aerial imagery and generate meaningful insights from collected data. Understanding of construction phases, terminology, and safety protocols. Friendly and professional attitude. Willing to listen and learn. Excellent attention to detail and focus Ability to adapt to changing conditions and environments Use of personal protective equipment is required at the job sites SDC is consistently strengthened by the skills and efforts of each employee.
