Full-time Responsibilities:
Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to high school students to prepare them for employment and/or further education in the drone/aviation field. Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. Provide opportunities to students to earn various industry credentials. Evaluate student performance, work cooperatively with parents, school personnel, and business/industry to maintain a program which meets Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and industry standards. Serve as SkillsUSA advisor.
Requirements:
A valid Ohio education certificate or license or demonstrated experience in drone operations or aviation occupations.
Preferences:
Entry-level background/experience in drone operations or a strong, demonstrated interest in learning UAS technology. Holds a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification, or be willing and able to successfully obtain it upon hire (training support provided).
