Job Description

Need an on-set editor for a medical conference in the Webster area to push out keynote speaker/interview clips to the organization's social media accounts and create an event recap piece for delivery by the end of the event. You will use an on-set editing rig provided by production and editing in Premiere.
Duties include:
  • Working with the client and the Executive producer to quickly turn around clips highlighted by them in realtime during the presentations, exporting both 16x9 and 9x16 versions
  • Using templates, stock footage, and music downloads from Motion Array, prepare graphics and assets to ensure a quick turnaround once media is delivered and clips are identified.
  • As cards and assets come in throughout the two days, create and maintain a stringout of notable moments/OTF sound bites/broll for use in the recap piece to ensure an efficient, expedious, and professional turnaround and product.
In your cover letter, please explain your process when editing on-set under tight deadlines for both horizontal and vertical deliverables. Please also send three examples of similar edits you've done under deadline. If you are a highly organized, fast working, self-disciplined, and creative editor who understands that preparation and time management are key to successful on-set editing, I look forward to hearing from you!
