Job Description

Wall Blush is a fast-growing peel-and-stick wallpaper brand hiring a designer to scale print creation and build efficient, high-volume workflows. This isn't a typical design role — artistry matters, but so do speed, taste, and throughput.
W H A T M A T T E R S M O S T
◆ Eye for home decor & trend sense. You know what prints, motifs, and palettes are resonating now — and what's next. You understand how a pattern reads on a wall, not just a screen. ◆ AI-fluent. You actively use AI tools for ideation, motif generation, upscaling, and variations — treating technology as a creative multiplier. ◆ Adobe Suite proficiency. Strong in Photoshop and Illustrator, with Illustrator especially important for clean vector pattern work. ◆ High output. You move fast without sacrificing quality, juggle projects, and take ownership. You want to grow with a scaling brand. ◆ Relevant portfolio. Show us at least 5 pieces fitting a home decor brand. No wallpaper-specific work yet? Include at least 2 adapted pieces — a repeating pattern, mural concept, or wall mockup.
S T R O N G L Y V A L U E D
◆ Pattern know-how. Seamless repeat structures (half-drop, brick, mirror) and tiling fundamentals. ◆ Print awareness. Large-format resolution, color accuracy, and file prep for peel-and-stick production. ◆ Mockup skills. Render patterns into real room settings so customers can see them on a wall. ◆ Marketing collaboration. Design within a brand voice; partner on collection launches and seasonal drops. ◆ Color & trend forecasting. Strong palette building and curiosity to track emerging trends in interiors, fashion, and culture. ◆ Editorial curation. Quickly identify what's sellable and on-brand at volume — know what to kill fast. ◆ Systems thinking. File organization, batching, and building scalable pipelines — not just working inside them. ◆ Finishing polish. Take designs from 80% to production-ready; fix repeats, refine color, prep for print.
