This opportunity provides flexibility to someone who is passionate about fashion and teaching. You will be focused on teaching elementary school aged kids. Supporting their growing and expanding minds while teaching them techniques and the history of fashion. Responsibilities Develop and implement level appropriate curriculum for Fashion Design subject. Use varied and appropriate instructional practices, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the Artist Lab studio philosophy and the needs of students. Create an environment conducive to learning that facilitates the physical, social, emotional, and academic development of students. Provide clear performance objectives for student, parent, and administrative reference. Develop and implement student assessment methods that will consistently and continuously provide a basis for evaluating and reporting student progress. Document and communicate student progress with advisors, administrators, and parents. Education and Experience Associate degree or greater in fashion or equivalent is preferred. 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred Fashion design background preferred
