Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Complete detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator for tech pack Responsible for creation of development tech packs for each season Responsible for all development sample requests Work with the design team to develop initial target specs/blocks Measure garments to spec and make recommendations Work closely with design team and cross functional teams Take detailed notes/revisions and photos during fitting for development and pre-production. Daily communication with factories CAD styles per season Qualifications and Experience Degree in Fashion Design 3+ Relevant experience in Technical Design A strong understanding of the product development process in partnership with overseas manufacturers Kids and Junior denim experience is preferred Experience creating technical sketches and flats Creation of development tech pack Comfortable leading fittings and taking initiative to fit solo when needed Knowledge of fit, sewing operations, and garment construction Knowledge of Patternmaking Adobe Programs (Photoshop, illustrator) skills required Denim CAD experience Good written and oral communication skills Strong organization Skills Please include work samples or portfolio upon submitting application Salary $80,000 - $85,000 annually Kellwood is an equal opportunity employer.
