Our aesthetic is understated, timeless, and quietly sophisticated, with a strong emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, and material integrity. We are seeking a Fashion Designer who combines strong design instincts with a deep understanding of garment development, materials, and construction. This individual will play an integral role in bringing new products to life. From initial concept through sample development while ensuring each style aligns with the brand's vision and standards. The idea candidate should be highly product-focused, capable of translating creative direction into well-executed garments, and confident in evaluating design, fit, proportion, construction, and material performance throughout the development process. This role works closely with the founder, production team, and sample makers to continuously refine products and elevate overall quality. Key Responsibilities Design and develop apparel styles that reflect the brand's aesthetic and product philosophy Create technical flats, sketches, and design development materials Prepare and organize design packages and supporting information for sample development Research, select, and recommend fabrics, trims, colors, and construction details appropriate for each style Evaluate samples and identify opportunities for improvement in silhouette, proportion, fit, detailing, construction, and material application Revise and refine designs based on sample reviews, wear testing, and founder feedback Collaborate closely with production and development teams to ensure design intent is accurately executed Maintain organized design files, development records, reference materials, and revision history Support consistency across product categories, design details, materials, and overall brand presentation Participate in product development from concept through sample approval Qualifications Professional experience in apparel design, product development, or a related field Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and apparel design software Ability to create clear technical flats, sketches, and design documentation Strong understanding of fabric characteristics, including texture, drape, weight, shrinkage, and finishing treatments Knowledge of garment construction, pattern development, fit evaluation, and apparel manufacturing processes Experience reviewing samples and implementing design revisions based on product performance and development feedback Ability to assess how material selection impacts silhouette, fit, construction, and overall product quality Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously Strong communication and collaboration skills Fashion or apparel industry experience required Korean language proficiency is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience designing women's apparel, loungewear, sleepwear, or premium lifestyle products Experience working within material-driven product development environments Strong ability to diagnose whether product issues originate from design, fit, pattern, construction, or material selection Experience working within a founder-led or emerging premium brand Appreciation for natural fibers, elevated materials, and thoughtful product craftsmanship Compensation $72,000•95,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.
