Full-time Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Associate Designer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in fashion design. This role involves developing and executing designs that align with our Private Label brand's aesthetic while delivering a fresh, commercial perspective. The Associate Designer will collaborate closely with the Senior Head Designer and Product Development team to bring new collections to life in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fashion environment & prioritize multiple projects  Knowledge of Cut & Sew Knits, Sweaters, and Woven fabrication  3+ years of experience required  Computer proficiency - Microsoft Office (Works, Excel, PowerPoint), illustrator, photoshop, and Outlook  Experience with mass market or Private Label is a plus
Responsibilities:
 Work on design WIP requests and follow Product Development notes closely, communicating any questions or challenges to help keep the process on track.  Develop and execute design concepts for Private Label under direction of Senior Head Designer  Prepare and submit detailed tech packs, including proto specifications, colorways, materials, and trim details  Manage and track proto samples, ensuring all samples are accurate and delivered on time for reviews and meetings  Provide clear comments and revision notes to factories following proto reviews and lab dips  Support costing process by organizing and preparing recap charts alongside Product Development team  Create and update CAD sketches to aid in internal reviews and buyer presentations  Participate in fittings to assess and approve garment fit and make technical adjustments as needed  Maintain up-to-date records of all samples, technical details, and related correspondence  Research and identify new print, color, silhouette, and fabrication trends for future collections
Skills Required:
 Keen eye for color, silhouette, print, and fabrication with a forward-thinking approach  Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)  Ability to track and follow up on samples, lab dips, and related components in a systematic way  Ability to solve problems under pressure while honoring delivery timelines  Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through on all phases of the design process  Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities and business needs
