Fashion Accessory Designer

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and innovative Accessory Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accessories that complement our fashion collections. Your expertise will influence the aesthetic appeal and commercial success of our accessories, ensuring they align with current trends and brand identity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in fashion accessory design and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Develop original accessory concepts that enhance seasonal fashion collections, incorporating current trends and brand vision. Create detailed sketches and illustrations using graphic design tools to communicate design ideas effectively. Utilize CAD software to develop technical specifications and production-ready patterns. Be an integral part of the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through final production. Participate in fittings and styling sessions to ensure accessories complement overall fashion looks. Experience Proven experience in fashion accessory or product design within the apparel industry is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), CAD software, and product lifecycle management tools. Strong understanding of garment construction techniques relevant to accessories such as bags, jewelry, shoes, belts, or headwear. Demonstrated skills in illustration, graphic design, color theory, sewing techniques, and sewing machine operation. Experience with fashion styling and visual presentation enhances the ability to create cohesive collections. Ability to translate creative concepts into technical specifications suitable for manufacturing. Experience in production of fashion/apparel accessories.
