Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Technical Designer to join our creative team and elevate our fashion collections through expert technical craftsmanship. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design concepts and production, ensuring that each garment meets quality standards, fits perfectly, and aligns with the brand's vision. This role plays a key part in translating creative concepts into precise tech packs that ensure our factories can execute garments exactly as intended. The Technical Designer will collaborate with design, production, and overseas vendors to support the product development process from concept through sample approval. Key Responsibilities Partner with the design team to translate design concepts into detailed technical packages for proto sampling Create and maintain tech packs including measurements, construction details, BOMs, fabrics, trims, and sewing instructions Prepare spec sheets and measurement charts to guide factory sampling Review proto samples and provide fit and construction comments to factories Track and update revisions and corrections to tech packs throughout development Ensure all technical documentation is clear, accurate, and production-ready before sampling begins Collaborate with production and sourcing teams to ensure garments are feasible and manufacturable Maintain organized records of styles, specs, and development notes Qualifications 3+ years experience in technical design or product development in apparel Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and pattern interpretation Experience building complete tech packs for overseas factories Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple styles and development timelines
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
