Costume Designer/Wardrobe Supervisor Description:
Job Summary The Hive Theatre Company is seeking a creative,anized and collaborative Costume Designer/Wardrobe Supervisor to join the production team for You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. This role is responsible for designing, sourcing,anizing, laundering, and maintaining all costumes for the production from pre-production through performances. Key Responsibilities •Must have full availability and the ability to fulfill all responsibilities for the duration of the production process• Design and source all costumes Attend the designer run Attend production meetings Attend Dress Rehearsals Set up dressing rooms; ensure all costumes are labeled,anized, and maintained throughout rehearsals and performances. Set and execute a reasonable laundry schedule, making sure costumes are delivered in time for each performance and Tech/dress run. Be reachable for any repairs or urgent costume needs over the performance run Be in charge of striking costumes, giving them a final wash, and delivering them to their TBD final home. Fulfill any additional ongoing requests related to the costume design and wardrobe aspects of the production. Ad to all program policies and safety guidelines, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Production Meetings:
Production meetings will be held throughout the summer and as needed during the rehearsal process
Auditions/Callbacks:
Dates TBD (Early September)
Rehearsals:
October 4th-October 30
Tech & Dress:
October 31-November 4
Performances:
November 5-15
Strike:
Evening of November 15 Compensation 1099
Stipend:
Negotiable based on availability and scope of experience
Qualifications:
Previous experience in costume design and wardrobe supervision Stronganizational skills and ability to manage multiple costume pieces, fittings, and deadlines simultaneously Ability to source costumes creatively and work within a production budget Basic sewing, alteration, and costume repair skills Ability to plan and execute costume laundry and maintenance needs throughout rehearsals and performances Strongmunication and collaboration skills Passion for theatre and creating a positive, supportive environment for artists and participants
