Position Summary The Intimates Designer is responsible for the design and development of innovative, trend-right, and commercially successful intimates collections across licensed and private label brands. This role will manage the design process from concept through production, collaborating closely with Product Development, Technical Design, Production, Sales, and overseas partners to ensure products align with brand vision, customer expectations, and business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong creative design capabilities with a deep understanding of garment construction, fabrications, fit, and product development processes within the intimates category. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop seasonal intimates collections across licensed and private label brands Research market trends, consumer insights, fabric innovations, trims, silhouettes, and color direction to drive product development Create detailed CADs, technical sketches, presentation boards, and design packages utilizing Adobe Creative Suite Develop product concepts that align with brand positioning, retailer requirements, and customer needs Collaborate closely with Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and production-ready Participate in fit sessions and partner with Technical Design to ensure fit, functionality, comfort, and design intent are maintained Communicate directly with overseas factories and vendors regarding sample development, artwork, fabric sourcing, revisions, approvals, and production timelines Review and approve samples throughout the development process, providing clear feedback and direction Support costing initiatives and margin objectives by balancing design innovation with commercial requirements Maintain organized design files, seasonal line plans, presentation materials, and development documentation Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical development and production deadlines Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Production, Merchandising, and Licensing teams to support seasonal objectives and customer presentations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred 5+ years of design experience within the intimates, lingerie, shapewear, sleepwear, or related apparel categories Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrications, trims, and technical specifications Experience managing products from concept through production Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and PLM systems Experience working directly with overseas factories and manufacturing partners Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong creative and technical design capabilities Preferred Qualifications Experience designing licensed products Experience within both private label and branded environments Knowledge of retailer-specific requirements and market trends Experience across additional categories such as sleepwear, activewear, or loungewear Experience designing for both women's and men's product categories Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer Ability to review garment samples, fabric swatches, and product prototypes Ability to occasionally lift and move sample garments and materials up to 25 pounds Benefits Majesty Brands offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and additional employee benefits. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skill set, and overall fit for the role.
